As part of the on-going integrated campaign we created for Salmat, 150, 12 inch, 3 kilo pink horses have just arrived at our front door… Why…? The Trojan horse was the first example of a triumphant, intrusive campaign. I mean, who wouldn’t let a pink horse through their door…!
We commissioned illustrator Rohan Cain to create the artwork for our 2011 Stop.Edit.Christmas cards. The team is gearing up for sore hands and dry mouths from writing, licking and sticking…
Medibank Health Solutions approached us to create a recruitment campaign aimed to drive doctors and nurses to their workplace health, immigration and travel clinics. As these roles are less intense then hospital or GP work, Medibank were looking for applicants who sought a more structured, less frantic career. Those who perhaps were new parents, studying, or closer to retiring. ‘Take back your everyday’ is about regaining control of your career, not working weekends and not having to deal with the unexpected. The ads appeared online and in medical journals around Australia.
The studio is in the process of designing and building a new blog for photographer Louise Hawson’s ’52 Suburbs Around the World’. Following her hugely successful 52 Suburbs of Sydney blog and book, she’s packing her bags and taking the project Worldwide. Once a week for a year she will photograph an ‘unfamous’ suburb in the world’s most famous cities and share it online.
We’ve just repositioned and rebranded McGee Consulting. M’Gee are business consulants to the creative industry, and we created a simple logo which plays on the phonetic nature of the owners name, plus marketing material and a website which illustrates the process driven approach of the business.
The studio was recently commissioned by our long-standing client CBRE to name, brand and market a new industrial development in Botany. The building (T2) has been designed by architects Michael Hesse & Associates, and construction will commence later this year. We created the positioning, designed the brand mark, wrote the copy and directed location and aerial photography. We’ve just received the A3 portrait, 24 page, multi-stock, singer sewn books….happy days.
We went to our first client christmas party of the season last night. Big thanks to our friends at Savills for the sombrero and sangria(s)…
We’ve just designed and produced the marketing material for Strada’s Office Fund Unit Trust. Established in 2005, Strada is an integrated property company focused on commercial property funds management and high-end residential property development.
We were recently engaged by boutique fund manager Northward Capital, to create an online and print campaign to raise brand awareness. The company has a multi-portfolio manager structure, with all members of the investment team playing an important role in stock selection and portfolio construction. To reflect this unique process, we built the campaign around multi-faceted perspectives that illustrate insight, vision and the selective nature of investing.
We’ve just repositioned and rebranded a1 Printmaster, our favourite Sydney printer. A simple logo, tactile website and lots of lovely printed pieces set the tone for Graham and Gavin’s positive, can do (tomorrow? easy mate, no problem) attitude.
We’ve just created a fresh set of print and online ads for The Lainsborough, a residential development by the Carrington Group.
The first book in a series of publications we’ve created for global property advisers Savills has just arrived in the studio. This 40 page capability book is a designers dream (and a printers nightmare) with 9 die cuts, an oversize format and multiple pms colours all contained within a wraparound cover.
The studio is currently working on a sister publication to accompany this edition. The book will be delivered next month and will feature high profile case studies of recent and current projects.
We’ve been commissioned by Salmat to create the name, brand mark and event collateral for a series of thought leadership events. These small and intimate ‘experiences’ are aimed at major corporate CEOs and other visionary C-suite executives. Updates to follow…
We’ve just launched an online and print campaign for Russell Investments new Helping Advisers website. This online knowledge hub has been developed to assist Russell’s financial adviser audience with any current and ongoing issues that might affect their practice or clients.
The site does ‘exactly what it says on the tin’ and is dedicated to just one thing…helping advisers. It is unapologetic in the fact that it offers no other service, and we built the campaign around this single minded proposition.
Macquarie is Australia’s largest investment bank with more than $320 billion under management and operations in 28 countries. Stop.Edit. developed concepts and designs for collateral, trade advertising and events to relaunch and reposition the pioneering Macquarie Wrap investment platform. We introduced the concept of ‘simplexity’ to communicate the genius of the platform and the advisers who use it to deliver sophisticated client solutions. The concept was brought to life visually through a series of images of recognised pioneers – each a genius in his or her field – people who made the complex simple or the difficult look easy. Each image is composed of myriad repeating icons, for example, an image of Einstein built out of the simple digital repetition of his famous equation.
Bell Direct is Australia’s fastest growing online broker. Stop.Edit. developed a new brand and advertising concept for Bell Direct built around the voice of real Bell Direct customers. The testimonial quotes have become a new visual signature for Bell, rolled out in a major print and online campaign, and adapted faithfully in a TVC. The ‘real’ nature of the new brand idea is also making it easy to extend the idea across other aspects of the Bell Direct online customer experience.
Nice shout out and article featuring the latest edition of our Stop.Edit.Paper. in Desktop Magazine today, thanks guys…
Andrew Quilty’s first book is the photographic record of a four-month journey through México. Quilty’s images of the Mexicans capture the spirit of a people he says are inimitable “…true to their roots yet equally impressionable”.
Stop.Edit. designed and published the limited edition 84 page full colour monograph (available for sale on Quilty’s website: andrewquilty.com), devising a format and design that lets the photographs tell their own story. We also designed a series of three unique A1 poster-size wrap covers for the books, and designed and produced invitations for the successful exhibition opening and launch event.
While all around us broadsheets are shrinking and tabloids are being closed down, the Stop.Edit. story is being writ large. Hot off the press is the latest issue of the Stop.Edit.Paper. Produced as an A1 broadsheet with multiple paper stocks, it features cover photography by Andrew Quilty, comments and thoughts from the S.E. team and profiles work produced for a range of our clients in 2011. It’s all fact and no fiction…read all about it…!

We have just produced a new capability brochure for Russell which tells the story of their integrated investment and consulting capabilities through a series of client case studies. We used 4 PMS colours on uncoated stock and created iconic illustrations and simple schematic diagrams, and then wove the metaphor of story and narrative through copy and interleaving storylines to create a high impact, unfolding sheet of stories. Happy ending!
